Artistic Profile
The workshops and masterclasses view music as a living space for thought and experience. Pianistic work is understood not only as a technical or interpretative task but as a process of artistic and personal development.

At the core is the search for sound – the inner listening from which every interpretation takes its own shape. The work follows a holistic approach: stylistic differentiation, chamber music thinking, and the living relationship between stage and audience emerge from one’s own artistic personality.

Masterclasses
The international masterclasses are aimed at young pianists and advanced students. Intensive working sessions create spaces of concentrated musical encounter, in which interpretation, reflection, and artistic exchange interweave.

Repertoire choices are largely determined by the participants themselves. They form the basis for individual questions and expand both musical and personal horizons. Central to the process is the search for deeper connections that allow pianistic maturation while simultaneously opening a dimension of personal growth.

Workshops & Salon Formats
In addition to the masterclasses, thematic workshop formats are offered that place music within a broader cultural context. Interpretation, discussion, and historical perspectives are combined into programs that consciously connect to the tradition of 19th-century musical salons.

Here, music is not only performed but also examined, narrated, and discovered together. Topics range from Mozart and Romantic piano aesthetics to the composer couple Clara and Robert Schumann, as well as interdisciplinary encounters between music and visual arts.

At the center are the relationships between music, literature, art, and aesthetic perception. The aim is to explore musical works from various perspectives and to create a lively dialogue between artists and audience.

Projects
The pedagogical work is enriched through artistic and intercultural projects. These include initiatives for promoting gifted students as well as international exchange programs and discursive concert formats. The guiding question is how musical education can be designed today – as a combination of artistic excellence, personal development, and cultural dialogue.

A particularly vivid example is a German–Kenyan music project in Nairobi, where young musicians from different cultural backgrounds worked, performed, and created concerts together.
